Tweed collection

Having been asked in the past about Shetland Tweed bears I decided to start a new range, using the same Burra Bear design but working in a different fabric, Shetland Tweed made from wool from Shetland Sheep which is dyed, spun and woven in the Islands, this fabric is produced by Jamieson's Spinning http://jamiesonsshetland.co.uk/jamiesons/ they have a gorgeous array of pure wool fabrics, have a look at some I have made so far! I launched them at Flavour of Shetland 08, and they went down really well!

Hello, we really love your Bears, having first come across them about a month ago, when we were searching for information about Burra. We are in fact sorting out a house swap to Hamnavoe, Burra early next year, so we'll be looking forward to seeing some of the Bears 'in the flesh'!

We also like the way you photograph your Bears amidst the landscape - they really look like they are enjoying it all. Best wishes, Beverley and family (fellow crafters)
